Job summary

IXO Inc. seeks a senior researcher to develop advanced formal-methods and computational-science problems, and to assess AI reasoning against expert solutions.

You will write reference solutions and clear grading criteria, evaluate correctness and depth of domain-specific reasoning, and work remotely with minimal supervision on an agreed schedule. Availability is remote work; compensation from $105–$179 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• A PhD or equivalent doctorate and at least ten years of relevant experience.
• Current or recent hands‑on scientific or formal‑methods work.
• Strong technical writing and the ability to work independently and asynchronously.

• Peer-reviewed publications, open-source contributions or other recognized technical work.
• Experience assessing research, code, teaching work or technical writing.
• Expertise in Lean/Coq, computational biology/genomics, condensed‑matter physics or quantum physics.

• Remote work; agree the assignment schedule before starting.

$105–$179/hr
