Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Senior Estimator for civil and site development to lead detailed cost estimates and competitive bids. You will support preconstruction and planning, analyze drawings, and develop budgets and proposals for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, subcontractor evaluation, risk assessment, and collaboration with management, engineering, and field teams to deliver accurate bids and smooth handoffs to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating, site development or heavy civil.
• Strong understanding of grading, earthwork, and underground utilities.
• Proven ability to estimate complex commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site data.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for site development projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation to determine scope and quantities.
• Develop budgets, bids, and proposals for client submission.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and site infrastructure.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes and incorporate into final estimates.
• Conduct site assessments to identify cost impacts and logistical considerations.
• Apply value engineering techniques to optimize cost efficiency.
• Maintain cost databases, production rates, and historical pricing data.
• Identify risks and contingencies in estimates.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and field teams for alignment.
• Support bid reviews, presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Facilitate project handoff to operations with complete estimate documentation.
