Ball Corporation is seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer - Chemical Process to advance water and waste-management efficiencies in a can-manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes auditing, standardization, and implementing best practices to meet Energy KPI goals, particularly water.

Based in France with hybrid or remote options, the position requires travel and collaboration with global teams. The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering degree and 6+ years in chemical process ops, plus 2+

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Basic Chemistry.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
6+ years experience in Chemical Process operations in can manufacturing or related field.
2+ years supervisory experience in chemical process operations in can manufacturing or related field.
Experience in Washers control, optimization, and wastewater treatment.
Willing and able to travel 50% to 70% of time.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

SME on can washers, front end lubricating systems, chemical processes used in can-making plants.
Implements Global Standards for Water and Waste Generation.
Supports Global Sustainability Engineering stakeholders in adoption of standards.
Trains BPAMEA Plant Employees on water and waste-generation processes.
Applies Lean Six Sigma in implementing Water and Waste-Generation standards.
Plans capital projects supporting Water and Waste-Generation standards.
Translates guidance into BPAMEA regional strategies and actions.
Collaborates with suppliers to identify new sustainability technologies.
