Back Market is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its global engineering team. You will work across backend and frontend, contributing to a distributed services transformation and owning end-to-end features.

You will join a cross-functional squad, collaborate with staff engineers, and help modernize platforms with a strong focus on performance, scalability and reliability. Hybrid policy applies with Paris office and selective remote days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience.
• Strong system design skills.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of APIs and data architecture.
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability.
• Proficient in Python stack and modern JS frameworks.

• Collaborate with squads and chapter to align technical direction.
