Spendesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product, Design, and Engineering organisation, focusing on backend systems for customer onboarding, verification, and compliance. You will own features end-to-end with roughly 70% backend and 30% frontend work, and help shape the squad’s technical direction.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations, using TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in a product-focused environment.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for backend development with Node.js.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend services for KYC and onboarding.
• Contribute to frontend development representing ~30% of the role.
• Own complex technical and functional topics across the full feature lifecycle.
