Escape Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Paris team. You will partner with security researchers to translate research into scalable production solutions and own critical backend components.

You will work with Python and Go, deployed on Kubernetes, handling large-scale scans, data processing, and distributed workflows. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and collaboration across security and engineering domains.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering, security research, or applied R&D in a product environment.

Responsabilités

• Build autonomous agentic scanning systems to explore applications and run complex tests.
• Design and implement production-grade security detection logic for injections, auth issues, and business logic flaws.
• Integrate AI-driven testing using LLMs to improve coverage and reduce false positives.
• Orchestrate thousands of concurrent scans using Kubernetes, queues, and resource management.
• Ensure scans are fast, deterministic, and cost-efficient while handling high complexity.
• Contribute to core platform design around memory systems, execution environments, and data models.
