Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect/Engineer to design and implement AWS‑based architectures for cutting‑edge quantitative research. You will collaborate with researchers, developers and data scientists to deliver scalable, secure cloud platforms with high availability and robust monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Engineer.
• Strong focus on AWS technologies.
• Experience designing highly available, secure cloud solutions for finance or research environments.
• Familiar with DevOps and automation tools such as Terraform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement custom AWS architectures to enhance quantitative research and modelling processes.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, and data scientists to translate needs into scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure for high‑performance research and large‑scale data analysis.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, management, and monitoring to streamline operations.
• Continuously review and optimize cloud systems for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Stay up to date on AWS services and drive best practices within the AWS Specialists team.
