Job summary

Exotrail in Massy is seeking an Avionics Electronic Team Lead to drive the hardware and embedded software engineering for the Spaceware Engineering Team. You will lead two expert teams, align objectives with project milestones, and ensure robust, cost-effective designs.

You will guide cross-functional collaboration, review major technical decisions, and foster innovation while maintaining delivery schedules.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
8–12+ years in electronic hardware design or embedded systems, ideally both.
Proven experience managing technical engineering teams.
Experience in a complex industrial environment.
Strong understanding of embedded software architectures; hands-on is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Avionics Engineering team; participate in recruiting.
Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth.
Foster technical excellence and cross-team collaboration.
Define priorities and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of simulation activities.
Act as the technical authority for Hardware Engineering and lead design reviews.
Drive improvements in simulation methods and tool adoption.
