UNIVITY in Toulouse is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer to lead avionics validation for the uniShape demonstrators and to define the complete avionics architecture for the uniSky constellation, focusing on design to cost, industrialization, and performance.
The role involves coordinating the avionics team, collaborating with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring system requirements and specifications are written and maintained through development, integration and testing.
At UNIVITY, we believe that everyone on Earth should have access to internet connectivity. We are on a mission to empower telecom operators to deliver high‑performance, affordable, sustainable internet from space to their clients where terrestrial networks are not available.
We successfully launched our first mission in 2025. Our next major milestone will be an in‑orbit demonstration in 2027, where two complete satellites will be deployed to further validate the system end‑to‑end. The following step will be to deploy our full constellation of disruptive satellites, enabling telecom operators to provide seamless connectivity worldwide.
The project is rapidly ramping up, and we are looking to expand our team with passionate individuals who share our vision. UNIVITY was created in 2022 and has offices in Toulouse and Paris. We offer exceptional learning and career development opportunities, as well as competitive salaries and benefits.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Avionics Engineer will play two major key roles:
The engineer will be responsible for the overall avionics subsystem, coordinating the avionics team, and ensuring seamless integration within the satellite system throughout both projects’ lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external suppliers, the engineer will contribute to the design, development, integration, and validation of high‑performance avionics systems for next‑generation space missions.
