About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our collaborative and impact-driven Data & Analytics team. You will act as a senior strategic partner to the business, bridging the gap between deep technical modeling and business strategy to power how Dashlane makes decisions. You will be a key driver in transforming our team from a reactive support function into a proactive, strategic powerhouse. Your work will directly shape how Dashlane measures success, from building out robust, AI-ready data foundations to delivering actionable insights that directly impact our bottom line.

Location

You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. Our hybrid culture combines the best of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, meeting in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Build & own complex data models: design, build, test, and own end-to-end data models within our dbt-powered “Unified Data Model”. Refactor messy datasets (e.g., Salesforce) into clean, intuitive models that serve as a single source of truth.
• Drive proactive business impact: act as a consultative partner to Product + Go-to-Market and business teams, uncover underlying business problems and deliver proactive, data-driven insights that drive measurable outcomes.
• Champion self‑service & upskill stakeholders: guide stakeholders toward scalable, self‑serve solutions in Omni, and upskill the organisation to scale autonomy.
• Pioneer AI data agents & automation: implement AI data agents and foundations to automate reporting and alerting for key business metrics.
• Elevate data governance & the team: implement and maintain data quality tests and governance best practices, mentor junior engineers, improve team processes, and raise the technical bar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineering position or equivalent.
• Expert in SQL and dbt, with deep, hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining complex data models in a production environment.
• Strong strategic business acumen and deep understanding of the B2B SaaS engine (ARR, NRR, churn, product‑led growth).
• Highly consultative stakeholder management skills, uncovering true business needs and driving alignment.
• “AI Champion”: fluent with AI coding platforms such as Claude Code, and experience integrating GenAI tooling into analytics workflows.
• Thrives in an autonomous, high-exposure environment with relentless curiosity for complex data puzzles.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Programming languages: SQL, Python.
• Data platform: AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue); orchestration: Airflow.
