Aviation JobSearch Europa is seeking a Senior Aircraft Structures Technician in the Paris area for a permanent, onsite role. The job combines structural maintenance and repair with supervising maintenance activities in a busy hangar environment.

Required: formal training in aircraft structures/sheet metal and at least 5 years of relevant experience; strong English for maintenance documentation; ability to lead and coordinate technicians and contractors. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Formal training in aircraft structures or sheet metal.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft structures experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural assembly, disassembly and fastening.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating others.
• Technical English is essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform aircraft structural assembly and disassembly, including riveting.
• Coordinate structural work packages in the hangar.
• Organise and distribute work by the skills and experience of team members.
• Supervise technicians and external contractors on structural projects.
• Coordinate structural activities with mechanical and avionics teams.
• Monitor progress to ensure aircraft delivery deadlines are met.
• Inspect and validate work performed by technicians and subcontractors.
• Order required parts and materials.
• Ensure repairs comply with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and compliant maintenance documentation.
• Support the release of repaired components, including EASA Form 1.
• Provide technical support to structures personnel when issues arise.
• Keep supervisors updated on progress and supplier needs.
