Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior High-Performance Storage Engineer to join its Infrastructure Specialists team. The role focuses on deploying, managing, and validating high-performance storage infrastructure within AI Factory Linux environments, engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams from planning through implementation.

The incumbent will hand over documentation and drive knowledge transfers, while contributing feedback and improvements to products and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in providing in-depth support, deployment, and validation services; solving problems for hardware and software based storage products.
• Expertise in systems and storage concepts and technologies including: SDS, NFS, S3, NVMeoF, Lustre, GPFS, and RMDA (RoCEv2/InfiniBand.)
• Experience with storage benchmarking tools such as FIO, IO500, IOR, HPL, NCCL tests, MLPerf storage.
• Linux system administration, performance reporting/optimization/logging, network-routing/advanced networking (tuning and monitoring)
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver resolutions for customer issues as they arise.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.
• An ability to travel to customer sites within the region up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, managing, and validating High-Performance Storage infrastructure in AI Factory Linux-based environments.
• Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.
• Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers.
• Provide feedback to internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.
