Datadog Notebooks empowers teams with AI-assisted data analysis and runbooks. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll own platforms for AI-powered analysis workflows within Notebooks and drive reliable, scalable backend services.

You'll collaborate with product and design to translate customer problems into robust technical solutions, mentor engineers, and help Datadog ship trustworthy AI experiences at scale in a hybrid Paris-based office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on AI-powered product delivery using LLMs.
• Strong product mindset linking tech decisions to outcomes.
• Experience building reliable, scalable production systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product experiences for Notebooks and adjacent surfaces.
• Develop systems that combine deterministic product capabilities with LLM-powered experiences to deliver trustworthy and explainable customer outcomes.
• Partner closely with Product: translate customer problems, adoption signals, and roadmap goals into concrete technical decisions.
• Build experiences that enable Datadog capabilities to operate within third-party AI platforms, agents, and conversational environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while helping establish AI engineering best practices.
• Own production systems: build and operate reliable backend services that run in the critical path of customer deployments, and be on-call for those services.
