A marketing agency in Marseille is seeking a Senior Account Manager who will play a key role in planning and delivering client projects. This role requires strong project management abilities and a proven track record in multi-stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in client services with a focus on POSM and merchandising. You will manage complex workstreams and ensure alignment across teams while fostering robust client relationships. Fluency in both French and English is necessary.

  • POSM/Promo/Merchandising experience is mandatory.

Description

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) plays a key role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of client projects throughout the entire marketing production lifecycle. They serve as a primary day‑to‑day contact for client stakeholders and internal teams, maintaining a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and impact. This role requires someone who can manage complex workstreams, contribute to strategic discussions, and ensure every touchpoint meets or exceeds expectations.

With a comprehensive understanding of the end‑to‑end print / POSM production delivery process — from brief to execution, the SAM ensures consistency, collaborative momentum, and ongoing improvement. They also assist the Account Director in identifying opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous development.

Responsibilities
  • Own and overseedaily project management from briefing to delivery, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and control throughout.
  • Foster and sustain strong relationships with client‑side contacts, serving as a reliable, solutions‑focused partner.
  • Work closely with creative, performance, and production teams to ensure alignment and punctual delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic scoping and briefing sessions, helping shape solutions that meet brand, shopper, and procurement goals.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are upheld and outputs meet all brand, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Support internal reviews and retrospectives to drive operational improvements and repeatable best practices.
  • Promote consistent documentation, status tracking, and reporting to ensure teams and stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Work closely with AMs on complex briefs, offering strategic support and guidance.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in client services, marketing, print/POSM production, or retail campaign delivery — ideally in an agency environment.
  • POSM/Promo/Merchandising experience is Mandatory (no Print only).
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent project management, timekeeping, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communicator and confident relationship builder at all levels, who can manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to budget control.
  • Able to proactively identify risks and recommend solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to course‑correct when needed.
  • Understanding of shopper marketing and/or retail activation is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English.
