Dashlane is seeking a Backend Software Engineer with a strong security background to join the Paris-based product development team. You will design, build, and operate backend services powering security-sensitive features for B2B and B2C users.

The role focuses on improving user protection, identity controls, and risk reduction, collaborating with product, design, and Security teams in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Professional backend software engineer with hands‑on production delivery in SaaS or cloud environment.
• Strong curiosity about security topics and product security.
• Experience building security features to protect users.
• Solid understanding of app security best practices, secure design, and threat modeling.
• Experience collaborating with security stakeholders (e.g., CISO).
• Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs, integrating external systems, and running services in production.
• Excellent communication in a cross‑functional team and fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Research, design, implement, and maintain backend services for security features across products.
• Build identity, authentication, access control, threat prevention features.
• Collaborate with Product and Security teams to translate requirements into features.
• Contribute to threat modeling and secure SDLC practices.
• Improve resilience against common attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in architecture discussions and balance security with usability and speed.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code with proper observability and ownership.
• Work with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver secure product value.
