Zdeno Solutions, LLC seeks a Life Cycle Support Systems Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at CANX1, MD. You will support the Technical Director across a wide range of SE tasks and architecture concerns, coordinating with customer partners to improve decision-making and deliver capabilities.

The position requires a strong systems engineering background and excellent communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree plus 20 years of SE experience is expected; advanced degrees may substitute for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.
• A Master’s or Ph.D. Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 24years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Providing systems engineering life cycle support in conjunction with customer partners and orchestrating across various aspects of the systems life cycle to improve decision-making and deliver capabilities.
• Rapidly assess the need for systems engineering for acquisition and organizational initiatives and recommend and execute the required efforts for success.
• Provide technical recommendations and assistance to the customer for all phases of the SE life cycle, program, or organization supported by the customer.
• Task activities will include Life CycleManagement, Requirements creation and management, Technical Management, Acquisition Support, Integration Management, Test and Evaluation support, Enterprise Architecture Support, Transition and Decommission support.

Position Description

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; work is performed at the customer site. As a Life Cycle Support Systems Engineer on our team, you will support, and work closely with, the customer Technical Director in performing a wide variety of tasks requiring a strong systems engineering background and experience as well as a foundation in architecture and senior staff level communications.

Desired Skills/Education

• A broad experience in systems engineering disciplines, with a focus on architectures, the system of system integration and architecture, mission use case and thread analysis, and engineering.
• Experience in developing/documenting architectures using standard architectural frameworks (e.g., UAF, DoDAF) and should have familiarity with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
• Desired to be proficient with the Cameo architecture tool and its usage.
• A demonstrated ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues.
