IXO is seeking contributors to record English scripts with an authentic Gujarati accent. You will read the supplied script, follow the recording guide, and complete the recording using a smartphone or computer with a microphone. Submissions are made through the designated work area.

The activity is brief and typically takes about 15 minutes. Pay is a fixed $55 per submission in USD for recordings that meet criteria, with additional recordings potentially offered under separate scopes.

• Your normal English speech must have an authentic Gujarati accent.
• You must be able to read and independently follow written instructions in English.
• You must have access to a suitable phone or computer with a microphone.
• Applicants of any gender are welcome.
• Voice recording, narration or previous audio-contribution experience is helpful, but it is not required.

Your contribution at IXO

Make a short recording of an English script using your natural Gujarati accent. This is a defined audio contribution with a flat submission fee. The purpose is to capture authentic speech, so you should speak in your usual voice instead of performing or imitating an accent.

• Read the script supplied for the assignment.
• Follow the recording guide and its step-by-step instructions.
• Complete the recording on a smartphone or computer with a microphone.
• Submit the finished audio through the work area specified for the assignment.

Eligibility and equipment

Your normal English speech must have an authentic Gujarati accent. You must be able to read and independently follow written instructions in English, and have access to a suitable phone or computer with a microphone. Applicants of any gender are welcome.

Voice recording, narration or previous audio-contribution experience is helpful, but it is not required.

Time and compensation

The activity is expected to take about 15 minutes or less. IXO will confirm the script, recording instructions and submission criteria before you begin.

Pay is $55/submission in USD for the completed recording that meets those criteria. This is a fixed fee for one submission, not an hourly rate or payment for an hour of finished audio. Additional recordings, if offered, will have their own agreed scope.

Recording participation and permitted use will be explained before contribution. Provide the requested script recording through the designated work process; personal audio collections or unrelated recordings are not part of the application.
