Job Title: Scientist Functional Biocharacterization and Impurities

Location: Toulouse

Department: Process & Product Design

Reports To: Manager Functional Biocharacterization & Impurities (FBI)

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform routine testing of analytical samples (impurity and potency assays) to support process development
  • Participate in Assay Method development & Method qualification for monoclonal antibody
  • Participate in characterization of early and late stage biotherapeutics (mAbs) using diverse biological assay formats
  • Data analysis and presentation
  • Support technology transfer to Quality Control Laboratory
  • Writing protocols, SOPs, reports & Technical documents
  • Working in aseptic environment
Who you Are:
  • MS (or equivalent) with 0‑3+ years’ industry experience, or BS with at least 5 years’ relevant industry experience, with degrees in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology or Life Sciences related field
  • Experience developing and applying biological characterization methods – Impurity & potency methods (cell‑based assays, ELISA, DNA manipulation & qPCR)
  • Experience in SPR & other protein binding kinetic assays i.e. BLI will be a plus
  • Hands‑on experience with plate‑based assays and serial dilutions
  • Aseptic technique and eukaryotic tissue culture experience
  • Use of liquid‑hand‑handling automation applications
  • Oral and written French & English communication skills
  • Desire to work in a fast, collaborative, and team‑oriented environment
