Loft Orbital is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and scale our ground segment infrastructure, collaborating with developers, operators, and IT to ensure reliable services for space operations on Earth and in orbit.

In this role you will build scalable, secure infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment, automate CI/CD and IaC workflows, and own the observability stack to drive performance and reliability. You will help advance our SatDevOps culture across teams and locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise across architecture, deployment, and ops.
• Ability to design and run scalable, highly available systems.
• Familiarity with SDN concepts and related tools.
• Hands-on observability stack experience (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with developers and operators to foster SatDevOps culture.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure hybrid-cloud infra.
• Improve developer experience with better tools and workflows.
• Lead CI/CD, IaC, and deployment pipeline automation.
• Own observability stack for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to network design and SDN operations.
• Proactively diagnose and fix system reliability issues.
