msg global solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Finance consultant to lead complex S4/HANA Finance projects (FI-CO, FI-AM, FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP) and manage functional teams. The role requires 5+ years of SAP consulting, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

You will coordinate delivery across modules, ensure high-quality services, and drive business development while supporting recruiting and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP consulting and implementation on S4/HANA Finance core modules FI-CO, FI-AM, FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance/IT.
• Experience in full cycle implementations in finance/insurance industries.
• Understanding of SAP technology and business value for clients.
• First experience in managing client relationships and teams.
• Strong time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to travel up to 30% and work on client site at least 2 days/week.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple projects/teams simultaneously and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The Finance Business Unit provides consulting, implementation and managed services focused on digital finance transformation and SAP Finance solutions.

Our teams help large organizations optimize their finance processes, governance, budgeting, planning, reporting and financial closing activities across complex SAP landscapes.

What you will do

• Help clients by consulting and providing exceptional solutions to their challenges
• Manage the successful delivery of complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment. Including changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs to keep the project plan accurate, updated, as defined
• Manage and coordinate a team of SAP functional consultants and act as the primary point of contact of our customers for the Finance scope.
• Organize priorities, workload allocation and resource planning
• Manage the implementation or rollout of S4/HANA Finance (including FI-CO, FI-AM, FI-GL, FI-AR, and FI-AP) including project resources
• Manage multiple projects and teams at the same time
• Lead engagements and deliver high-quality services on time and within budget
• Analyze technical and functional integration requirements
• Identify high-level risks on the projects, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project
• Develop and maintain communication with key project stakeholders and decision-makers
• Assist in business development initiatives
• Promote and participate in sharing expertise, strengthening msg global's collective knowledge, and helping resolve our clients’ challenges
• Develop your knowledge and extend project experience in SAP’s newest and future solutions
• Support in business operational topics (e.g., recruiting)

What we are looking for

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP consulting and implementation experience on S4/HANA Finance core modules like FI-CO, FI-AM, FI-GL, FI-AR, and FI-AP.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, or business analytics) or other equivalent experience
• Work experience in implementations (full cycle) and finance and/or insurance industry work experience
• Comprehensive understanding of the technology and how it affects clients' area of the business, trends associated with the technology, value propositions for clients
• First experience in managing client relationships
• First experience in managing teams along with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Business and financial acumen along with a strong analytical mindset, structured and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in French and English (oral and in writing)
• Support presales demos, proof of concepts and client demonstrations
• Knowledge of insurance, finance and/or accounting processes
• Excellent customer facing skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
• Capacity to work well under pressure in particular under cost and time constraints
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Required to work on the client site a minimum of 2 days per week
• Must be legally authorized to work in France without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Cross-functional expertise regarding integration with other SAP core insurance modules
• Experience in budgeting processes and solutions
• Working experience in one or more of the following industries: finance, insurance, or reinsurance, either as a consultant or company employee
• Master's degree or MBA (preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, business analytics) or related field
• Relevant SAP certifications
• Technical Programming skills (ABAP)
• Familiar with SCRUM and ASAP project methodologies
