Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Expert to support a global SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation for a leading international retail company. Location: Paris, France with 3 days onsite per week.

Contract: Freelance, initial 9 months with extensions expected; Start: ASAP. Languages: fluent French and English. Responsibilities include driving end-to-end data migration activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP data migration experience, ideally within an S/4HANA implementation.
• Functional and technical understanding of data migration processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Freelance role in Paris with 3 days onsite per week; start ASAP.

I’m currently looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Expert to join a global SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation for a leading international retail company.

Key Details:

• Location: Paris, France – 3 days onsite per week

• Contract: Freelance, initial 9 months with multiple extensions expected

• Start Date: ASAP – Urgent

• Languages: Fluent French and English

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end data migration activities, from design and mapping through to data loading, execution and validation.

• Manage migration objects and coordinate activities across functional and technical teams.

• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and delivery.

• Support data migration planning, testing, reconciliation and issue resolution.

Required Experience:

• Strong SAP data migration experience, ideally within an S/4HANA implementation.

• Good functional and technical understanding of data migration processes.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience with Syniti, Informatica MDM and SAP MDG (Business Partner/Business Partner Group) would be a bonus, but is not mandatory.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major multi-year global transformation programme, with extensions expected beyond the initial contract.
