Job summary

OTC Flow is seeking a Junior Sales Trader to join our Paris-based Sales Trading team. You will build your own client portfolio, identify trading opportunities and deliver market analysis to clients.

You will work with experienced traders, participate in training programmes and have the opportunity to grow into a revenue-generating role with a bonus scheme and a potential permanent contract after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or related field.
• 0–2 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Proactive, creative and ambitious.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; cold calling a plus.
• Commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Interest in financial and commodity markets.
• Driven to hit ambitious targets early in career.
• Thrives in a competitive environment.
• Fluent Polish and excellent English.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build a client portfolio through cold calling and networking.
• Talk with clients by phone, online and in person to understand their business needs.
• Identify trading opportunities and help execute them.
• Act as the main point of contact and source of information for your clients.
• Provide daily quotes and market analysis to market participants.
• Monitor the markets and follow financial news and events.
• Keep your knowledge of traded products, new products and procedures up to date.
• Take responsibility for meeting your own revenue target (PnL).
• Promote OTC Flow’s services to grow the company’s market share.

About the role

As a Sales Trader, your main focus will be building your own client portfolio and delivering strategic trading solutions that help clients meet their environmental regulatory obligations. You will actively bring in new clients through phone calls and meetings. You will work closely with experienced traders and take part in a range of training programmes, which will give you the knowledge and skills to succeed in this industry.
