Job summary

TransPerfect Life Sciences is seeking a Sales Associate to build new business and serve as the first point of contact for existing clients. You will understand TransPerfect's service capabilities, identify prospects, and develop relationships through cold calls, the Internet, and events.

In coordination with Sales Management, you will qualify and close opportunities, educate clients about services, and manage pricing and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
• Superior written and spoken communication in French & English.
• Experience in a high-tech environment.
• Familiarity with web technologies, desktop publishing software, database and network environments.
• Strong analytical skills to project revenues and monitor budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings.

• Perform other special projects or duties when required.

Required Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent

• Superior written and spoken communication skills in French & English (additional languages are a plus)

• Previous work experience in a high-tech environment

• Familiarity and ability to communicate issues related to web technologies, desktop publishing software, database and network environments, etc.

• Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and perform other necessary calculations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings
