Job summary

Bleu Robotics is hiring Research Scientists in Vision & Perception to design the perception stack for our industrial robots. You will shape how our robots see, recognize, and understand scenes with minimal site-specific tuning, enabling robust, data-efficient perception for deployed policies.

This research role focuses on shipping algorithms into a real product and collaborating with Robot Learning and Integration teams to ensure methods run on real robots in production environments.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, or closely related field.
• Track record of published research at top venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICRA, IROS, CoRL, RSS).
• Demonstrated research expertise in computer vision or machine perception (object recognition, segmentation, 3D perception, etc.).
• Strong Python skills and fluency with PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience training, evaluating, and debugging modern vision systems.
• Professional proficiency in English (internal working language).

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate perception algorithms for robotic manipulation and scene understanding.
• Advance state-of-the-art perception for embodied agents with robustness and data efficiency.
• Run rigorous experiments on real robots and contribute to data, evaluation, and infra.
• Translate research prototypes into production-ready perception components.
• Collaborate with Robot Learning and Integration teams to move research from prototype to production.
• Help shape the long-term research agenda of the company.
