Job summary

METAL INTERFACE is seeking a skilled Welder to operate NC welding robots and welding stations on a permanent contract in France. You will program, operate, check quality, and maintain welded parts and work-in-progress while ensuring 0% rework and 100% conformity.

Qualifications

• Familiar with safety rules in workshop environments.
• Familiar with safety rules at welding machines and robots.
• Understanding of welding principles and metal joining processes.
• Knowledge of preparation and storage of welded parts.

Responsibilities

• Program the welding robot to produce parts and set up tooling.
• Produce parts on the welding robot and on the welding station.
• Check the quality and conformity of welded parts against standards.
• Prepare storage and handling of welded parts and WIP.
• Monitor machine hours and record time spent on production.
• Carry out regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure reliability.
• Strive for zero rework and 100% compliant parts.
