Job summary

Kantar is seeking a dedicated Job Accounting Specialist to join the Kantar Business Services (KBS) Quote-to-Cash team in Bordeaux. You will support revenue recognition and job accounting activities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least three years in accounting/finance or similar role.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting processes.
• Understanding of cost allocation and project-based accounting methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end job accounting activities across Kantar Business Services and outsourced finance teams.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and Project Managers to ensure compliance with revenue recognition processes.
• Monitor and support timely and accurate job closure activities.
• Review and analyse journal entries from job closures.
• Support year-end revenue recognition reviews and IFRS 15 compliance.
• Manage and account for non-standard jobs, including revenue and direct cost recognition.
• Provide guidance on job accounting including revenue/direct cost recognition and documentation.
• Analyse proposed revenue recognition adjustments and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Support reviews of accrued and deferred revenue balances and issue resolution.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and finance inquiries.
• Contribute to finance transformation and special projects including M&A activities.
