Job summary

McDonald's Corporation in Calais, France is seeking a Maintenance Person responsible for keeping the restaurant facility and equipment clean, safe, and functional to meet McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, assist with safety compliance, and support operations during peak periods, while working indoors and outdoors and adapting to early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and complete routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of the restaurant, including dining room, restrooms, kitchen, storage areas, parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment and report issues promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines, maintain compliance with health regulations, and keep walkways free of hazards.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and manage exterior lighting and signage.
• Assist restaurant management with special projects and ensure equipment is clean and ready for peak periods.
