Exotrail in Massy is seeking an Electronics Module Leader to plan and execute propulsion internal development projects. You will lead the TCU and EDU module efforts, balancing technical depth with strong project management to meet goals and client expectations.
You will drive master plans, staffing, risk mitigation, KPIs, reporting, and supplier coordination while ensuring manufacturing deliverables and documentation are on time.
Born from a strong ambition to reach for the stars, Exotrail is a fast-growing scale-up founded in 2017. Its mission: to develop and commercialize propulsion systems for small satellites on a global scale.
We design products focused on impact, fast delivery, and continuous improvement. Inspired by the digital world, we are firmly customer-oriented and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit.
We manage risks to push boundaries and achieve results that would not be possible within a traditional space model.
We deploy every necessary resource to support the development of our products, whether in propulsion or in-orbit services. Strengthened by an innovative mindset inherited from our early days, we are preparing to grow into an ambitious industrial company.
We are looking for an Electronics Module Leader to join our team in Massy. The Module Leader is responsible for successfully planning and executing propulsion internal development projects.

The role has Operational Management responsibilities.
The Module Leader ensures robust project responsibility by overseeing planning, budgeting, and delivery of development projects.
Project planning: Create master plans with clear timelines and resource needs, aligning with strategic goals, for both the TCU module and EDU product.
Workforce planning: Plan and manage staffing levels to meet organisational needs, in collaboration with Line Managers. Escalate staffing conflicts to the Technical Project Manager when conflict within the same program; to Line Managers if conflict across programs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and uncertainties together with the technical team or, in case of support needed, with the Technical Project Manager. Use risk management processes to minimize the impact of risks on project objectives.
Performance Metrics: Track critical KPIs such as budget adherence, timeline accuracy, and quality standards to evaluate project success.
Reporting: Regularly update Technical Project Manager, Product Manager and Line Managers on project progress, challenges, and workload.
Stakeholder Management: Track project performance against established KPIs and objectives. Prepare and present detailed project reports to technical team and Technical Project Manager, highlighting progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Quality: Ensures clarity and on-time delivery of manufacturing deliverables and documentation. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Production support: Ensure proper implementation of the TCU & EDU workflows in coordination with the Industrialization. In the event of a production issue, the Module Leader is responsible for establishing a dedicated action plan to restore the production.
Supplier follow-up: The Module Leader will ensure the proper technical follow-up of the activities subcontracted to suppliers for development purposes and may support the Quality and Supply team with the technical follow-up of suppliers involved in the production of flight units. It encompasses the preparation, execution and finalization of the activities. Occasional travel to the supplier premises may occur.
