We are searching for an experienced Head of Operational Excellence at our Jouy-en-Josas facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Specializing in management education and research, HEC Paris offers a comprehensive and unique range of programs for tomorrow's decision makers: the Grande Ecole program, Specialized Masters, MSc, Summer School, MBA, Executive MBA, TRIUM Global Executive MBA, Doctorate, and a wide range of programs for executives and managers.

Founded in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HEC Paris is now an autonomous legal entity with 140 permanent professors, 4,500 students, and 8,000 executives and managers in training each year. In a context of business growth, we are recruiting a Head of Operational Excellence.

The Head of Operational Excellence ensures the performance, reliability, and quality of processes in the implementation of Executive Education training programs. He/she promotes operational excellence through automation and the continuous improvement approach that he/she implements.

  • Analyze requirements with delivery teams.
  • Develop automation tools for the entire team.
  • Leading optimization projects, acting as a liaison between operations and management.
  • Facilitating workshops to train and acculturate teams.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and promoting process consistency.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and efficiency standards by recommending corrective measures.
  • Monitors and analyzes performance indicators (quality, deadlines, customer satisfaction).
  • Supports international accreditation/ranking processes through reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with certification standards (Qualiopi, accreditations), GDPR, data protection, and cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications
  • Higher education degree and at least 5 years' experience in implementing task automation tools within a business department or project management support department.
  • Experience in implementing digital solutions in collaboration with IT teams is required.
  • Strong listening, analytical, and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communicative energy.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to implement new methodologies and gain acceptance for them at different levels of an organization, and you know how to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • You are proficient in project management tools and Office suite optimization tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is required.
  • Knowledge of the world of higher education and/or life-long learning education is a plus.
