Un leader mondial de l'assurance recherche un Head of Corporate Finance pour superviser la stratégie de développement interne, la gestion du capital et l'ALM au sein d'AXA LM. Le candidat idéal aura entre 8 et 10 ans d'expérience en finance d'entreprise, avec une forte capacité de leadership et une expertise en gestion d'équipes. • 8 à 10 ans d'expérience en finance d'entreprise ou dans des cabinets de conseil.

Description du poste

Main missions

As Head of the Corporate Finance team, your role will revolve around the following topics :

• Actively involved in the internal development strategy of AXA LM via carrying valuations;
• Supervise the capital management of entities within AXA LM perimeter (AXA as well as Funds) as well as structure simplification topics;
• Supervise asset‑liability management processes (ALM); and
• Supervise financial modeling and ad‑hoc studies.

1. Internal development strategy

AXA Liabilities Managers has shifted its strategic focus towards run‑off (re)insurance portfolios within AXA perimeter. Thanks to the expertise acquired by managing France‑based and US‑based run‑off reinsurance AXA entities, AXA LM is in a position to offer tailor‑made reinsurance solutions for AXA reinsurance portfolios in run‑off.

Key aspects of your role will be to :

• Actively involved in the valuation of ongoing and future internal development opportunities and organize valuation meetings;
• Give advice to the ExCom with respect to options for pricing and structuring for a given acquisition;
• Take part in due diligences when required;
• Use your network at AXA to try to source new internal development opportunities; and
• Refine and adapt existing valuation tools in order to have the latest regulatory changes factored in valuations

2. Simplification of the capital structure strategy

Key aspects of your role will be to :

• Actively involved in the assessment of simplification structuring in order to upstream more capital to Group;
• Give advice to the ExCom with respect to simplification options; and
• Liaise with counterparties within Group (Group Corporate Finance, Group Tax, Group Performance Management, etc.) to better assess simplification opportunities

3. Capital management

• AXA entities
  1. Interact with Group counterparties (Group Corporate Finance, Group Tax, etc.) to address and conduct topics relating to capital
  2. Liaise with other AXA LM departments (PBR, Risk management, etc.) to produce consistent and reliable data (accounting as well as regulatory S2) for reportings
  3. Implement and execute capital upstreams for all the legal entities within AXA LM perimeter
• Funds entities
  1. Work closely with Luxembourg team in topics relating to accounting and capital hedging
  2. Take part in various communications due to Funds investors (Investor reports, ad‑hoc requests, etc.); and
  3. (As Independent valuer of funds) Supervise the right execution of the yearly performance update and monitor cash and capital relating to funds business

4. Asset‑liability management

Key aspects of your role will be to :

• Be the main contact for asset managers with respect to funds portfolios, in charge of supervising quarterly investment committees;
• Supervise the execution of decided investment plans;
• Be the main contact for AXA France with respect to AXA portfolios, in charge of supervising ALM processes;
• Responsible of ALM models for all legal entities managed by AXA LM (Funds + AXA portfolios);
• Supervise the maintenance and development of ALM models;
• Responsible for the assets database administration and the various investment reportings;
• Supervise various reportings to Risk management department;
• Advise local CFO’s on investment decision and capital optimization; and
• Study the opportunity for new types of investments and present your conclusions to the ExCom

5. Others

• Take part to ad hoc projects and financial studies
• Work constantly to build a vision for AXA Liabilities Managers Corporate Finance within AXA LM and Group

Votre Profil

You have a strong (re)insurance background with at least 8 to 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance or consulting firms.

You are autonomous, rigorous, detail‑oriented, persistent, curious, multi‑skilled. You bring new ideas to the table, and you are passionate about your work. You have experience in managing professionals.

You will be able to show successful experience of working with senior executives and of influencing and communicating at the highest business levels (ExCom members, asset managers, banks) in a challenging and international environment.

You show leadership skills : you are able to bring your team and peers in a direction, be pedagogical about the technical sides of Corporate Finance, represent Corporate Finance within our entity and extend its significance across AXA LM and AXA Group
