Evotec is seeking a Research Scientist (Computational Biology) to join the AI In Silico R&D Department in Toulouse. You will support oncology researchers with bioinformatics and data analysis, contributing to drug discovery through omics datasets.
The role requires a PhD with 2+ years in the field, strong oncology knowledge, and proficiency in R. Work spans collaboration across disciplines in a fast-paced environment within a global organization.
In the AI In Silico R&D Department at Evotec, more than 100 scientists from diverse backgrounds in biology, computer science, mathematics, and biomedicine work together to analyze and interpret complex omics datasets. In close collaboration with our laboratory scientists, we develop, operate, and continuously enhance high-throughput, high-precision omics platforms. As part of multidisciplinary drug discovery programs, we collaborate with experts from a wide range of scientific disciplines across a global organization of more than 5,000 employees worldwide. Our work spans omics data management and quality control, method and software development, advanced data analysis, and the biological interpretation of results. Our mission is to generate actionable insights that enable better decisions and accelerate the development of medicines that matter.
