Diabolocom in France is seeking a Software Development Team Lead for the Data2 Squad. You will drive architectural vision, mentor engineers and deliver robust Kotlin/Java back-end systems in a fast-growing, cloud-based platform.

You’ll own technical direction, collaborate with Product, Design, Infrastructure and Customer Operations, contribute hands-on coding, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 service availability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development, with at least 5+ years in Kotlin or Java
• 3+ years in a people management role
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with Spring Boot Framework
• Hands-on back-end development expertise
• Strong system design background: distributed systems, scalability, reliability
• Leadership, clear communication and strong organizational skills

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of engineers: hiring, performance reviews, continuous feedback and day-to-day support
• Define and drive quarterly, release and sprint planning to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Own architectural decisions and technical direction; review and challenge designs with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability and testability
• Ensure production stability: proactive monitoring, incident response, post-mortems and corrective measures
• Define and maintain service contracts to ensure seamless communication between systems
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Infrastructure and Customer Operations to align technical solutions with business needs
• Contribute personally to back-end development, primarily in Kotlin
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 service availability
