Scaleway in Lyon seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain reliable, observable infrastructure to ensure high service availability for customers worldwide.

You will join an international team responsible for core infrastructure, monitoring tools, and observability, while mentoring others and driving automation across environments.

Hybrid work up to 3 days per week, with strong focus on security, scalability, and collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern Linux environments (Ubuntu/Debian).
• Proven ability to build reliable, observable systems and automate remediation.
• Experience in cloud infrastructures and on-call incident management.

Responsabilités

• Build and optimize tooling to automate monitoring, diagnosis, and remediation of production incidents.
• Troubleshoot high-impact production issues in collaboration with other engineering teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle incidents and ensure service continuity.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions to monitor infrastructure and application health.
• Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle management across environments.
• Promote best practices for stability, resiliency, scalability, and security.
