Mindrift is seeking Senior Python Data Scraping Engineers to join the Tendem project and drive data scraping workflows for real-world applications.

The freelance, part-time remote role focuses on web scraping, data extraction, and processing, employing tools such as Apify, OpenRouter, and related technologies to deliver high-quality datasets.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, strong automation skills, and comfort working independently on distributed sources.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong scripting, automation, and data extraction workflow experience.
• Experience handling anti-bot mechanisms and dynamic site structures at scale.
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites.
• Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation.
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and JavaScript-rendered content.
• Enforce data quality standards and formatting specifications.
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets and monitor failures.
