Talantir is seeking a Python-focused Software Engineer for an independent contractor engagement. You will support research collaborations on open-source-like tasks, reconstructing model reasoning and annotating solution trajectories for real-world coding tasks.

You will review code trajectories, infer debugging steps, and write clear technical reasoning while aligning with actual developer workflows in a remote, flexible, part-time setting.

Competenze

• 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong debugging experience in real codebases.
• Proficiency in Python (primary).
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or other open-source languages (preferred).
• Experience with Git workflows (PRs, issue tracking).
• Ability to articulate technical reasoning clearly in writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
