Alignerr Corp. seeks a PhD-level Applied Physicist to stress-test cutting-edge AI models, probing quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, and more, ensuring AI respects the laws of physics.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract. You will design open-ended problems, author golden solutions with precise units, and audit AI reasoning to flag and correct physics hallucinations. Strong scientific training and clear communication in English are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Applied Physics or closely related field.
• Strong ability to explain complex physical phenomena in clear English.
• Attention to detail in physics notation and units.

Responsabilités

• Design PhD-level, open-ended physics problems spanning mechanics, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
• Author precise, step-by-step golden solutions with correct units and constants.
• Audit AI reasoning for physical consistency and first-principles accuracy.
• Provide feedback to improve physics-informed reasoning in AI systems.
• Work independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments.
