Job summary

IXO Inc. is seeking a mechanical designer to develop and assess CAD models, drawings and manufacturing documents. You will analyze stresses and tolerances and support the transition from concept to production-ready documentation, recording key assumptions.

Two to four years in ME or related field and a bachelor’s degree are required. Remote, project-based work with per-project fees and USD payments are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in mechanical engineering or product design.
• Experience creating detailed designs and drawings to engineering standards.
• Proficiency with major CAD systems listed above.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise CAD models for components, assemblies and systems.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Analyze stress, tolerances and manufacturability.
• Support design from concept to production-ready documentation and recording assumptions.
