Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Ansible / AWX) for a fully remote role based in France.

You will automate infrastructure lifecycle, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, and develop Bash and Python scripts to streamline operations across Linux and Windows systems. You will document configurations, design automation for internal and customer projects, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on Ansible and AWX for automation and lifecycle management.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting to develop automation scripts.
• Solid Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
• Understanding of databases and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation in workflows.
• Ability to document environments and configurations clearly.
• Independent, structured approach with ownership mindset.
• Willingness to train and onboard colleagues while sharing expertise.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve infrastructure automation using Ansible and AWX.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and integrations.
• Independently manage automation tasks from planning to completion.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate recurrent tasks.
• Document infrastructure environments, configurations, and procedures.
• Design automation and network environments for internal and customer projects.
• Collaborate across Linux and Windows systems, databases, and networks.
• Identify improvements to configurations, workflows, and standards.
• Train and onboard colleagues; share technical knowledge.
• Participate in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
