Outlier is seeking a freelance OpenClaw Agent Builder to help shape autonomous agents. Remote work, up to $50 USD/hr, paid weekly. Typical schedule is flexible with 5–10 hours per week and potential up to 40 hours depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include writing evaluation rubrics, debugging agent traces, and stress testing agents. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration, and experience building production-grade software

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
