Alan, based in Annecy, France, is looking for a dedicated insurance professional to define and build important metrics and tools for portfolio monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various teams, including data scientists and finance, to ensure a competitive edge in the insurance sector.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, be fluent in both English and French, and be skilled in portfolio analytics and forecasts. Alan promotes a flexible remote work environment coupled with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in insurance and portfolio monitoring.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Master of portfolio analytics and forecasts at the micro level.
• Comfortable with SQL and ideally in R or Python.
• Analytical and structured, with a fact-based decision-making style.

Responsabilités

• Define and build metrics and tools to monitor the portfolio and forecast margins.
• Own quantitative metrics computation for strategic decision making.
• Understand margin and claims drivers for repricing.
• Contribute to reinsurance plans and support renewal strategy.
• Support entities in new countries with portfolio monitoring.
