The State of North Carolina is seeking a Corrections Programs Supervisor to oversee rehabilitation programs for offenders within a minimum custody facility. You will develop and maintain major programs, supervise program areas, and coordinate with custody staff to ensure compliance during audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or criminal justice field and one year of corrections or related work.
• Knowledge of case management practices or interviewing techniques for intake assessments.
• Documented knowledge of services available to offenders.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain one or more major and broad programs for offenders in a minimum custody prison facility.
• Supervise program areas which consist of offender classification; correctional programs; and supportive counseling.
• Work with external community agencies to enrich programs and conduct home leave/work release investigations.
• Review and monitor the effectiveness of community volunteer workers and coordinate activities with custody staff.
• Communicate effectively in presentations and reports for audits and compliance purposes.
