This role involves optimizing logistics processes, ensuring compliance, and managing projects within a newly established multi-billion euro region. What does the role involve?

In close collaboration with countries (Functional reporting) :

Process Design and Implementation
  • Implement new logistics and warehouse processes or modifying existing ones according Group Strategy.
  • Developing and documenting processes, including testing and training.
Process Optimization & digitalization
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring process performance through KPIs’.
  • Utilizing data analysis to identify trends and areas for optimization.
  • Proactively support the roll out of Supply Chain digital eco‑system (Blue Yonder / TMS / WMS / YMS,etc..).
Stakeholder Management
  • Acting as a Logistics & Warehouse process specialist.
  • Being point of contact for Group, WEI Countries and for other Streams.
  • Build & Develop Regional Transport and Warehouse community across the 7 countries in the Region.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns.
Compliance and Governance
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Budget Management
  • Logistics and Warehouse tendering in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Cost optimization.
Change Management
  • Driving change management practices to ensure adoption of new processes.
Project Management
  • Leading workstream teams and clearing obstacles.
  • Facilitating decision‑making and ensuring project milestones are met.
What you need
  • Functional expertise. You know how to design, standardize, and continuously improve end‑to‑end transport and warehouse processes across countries; to ensure KPI performance, compliance, system enablement, and stakeholder adoption.
  • Digital mindset and analytical skills. You understand and analyse transport, warehouse and financial data to drive optimization and contribute to customer service and P&L continuous improvement. You understand digital transformation through TMS ( tendering, optimization, track & trace, freight audit & pay with systems such as: SAP TM, Oracle OTM, Blue Yonder) and through WMS (configuration, inbound, inventory & storage, order management & picking, Labor & task management with systems such as: SAP EWM).
  • Business ownership. You will proactively take all necessary actions to get things done in an international matrix set‑up. You understand trade‑offs to focus on what matters the most, balancing global, regional and national needs to maximise value creation for the region.
  • Exceptional communications skills. (including presentations). You can exchange in both formal and informal ways with all levels in the Group and you can promote & cascade clearly any strategically decision taken by the Group and the Region. You can as well listen to the countries and support their needs in any optimisation.
  • Safety and Sustainability mindset. You will ensure safe transportation / handling of goods by following all regulatory requirements and company procedures, proactively identifying hazards, and stopping work when conditions are unsafe. You will as well drive the decarbonisation initiatives and monitor the sustainability reporting.
  • Functional leadership in a Region in Development. You will take care to build up the Supply Chain Transport and Warehouse community through the WEI Region and engage this community in the transformation journey.
