Become a part of the “strength within.”Hexcel is currently seeking a **Regional Product Manager H/F** based in **France - Les Avenières** (close to Chambéry)**.****The Regional Product Manager** will support Group Product Manager in the development of European/MEA/Asiapac product line strategies including but not limited to, product development and pricing strategies for assigned Product Lines in coordination with a global approach and alignment within Global Product Team. Lead effort for developing a deep understanding of competitors and their product lines in our market areas through regular contact with key customer and market research. Lead Marketing/Product Management effort, working with regional and global sales team in the promotion of product lines, and development of a pipeline of growth opportunities to drive continued year on year growth.**Key Responsibilities and Activities:*** Support Group Product Manager in the development of European/MEA/Asiapac product line strategies, including but not limited to: Identification and justification of Product Development business cases through market assessments, Project Management of product development/business development, in co-ordination with R&D, Sales, Communications, Operations, etc. for bringing products to market, successful promotion, and development of market for new products, Development of coordinated pricing policies across multiple products and plants, ensuring consistency for the positioning price positioning of materials across multiple plants, and product lines, Support Group Product Manager as a participant of various internal teams including, but not limited to, Group Product Teams, Product Development Teams with completion of assigned responsibilities/actions.* Lead efforts to develop a deep understanding of Competitors and their product lines in our market areas: Through a network of contacts with customers, through our Sales and Technical Support teams, and through market research become a focal point for assigned Product Lines/Markets to understand Hexcel's relative capabilities, product and price positioning of Hexcel's offering versus our competitors ; Support Group Product Managers and co-ordinate across site Product Managers, and Sales team to ensure accurate reflection of Hexcel and competitor market positioning is accurately reflected in Hexcel's annual Strategic planning process.* Lead Marketing/Product Management effort, working with regional and global sales team in the promotion of Product Lines, and development of a pipeline of growth opportunities: Lead efforts for assigned Product Lines/Markets/Opportunities for the development of a pipeline of Growth Opportunities ; Work in coordination with regional and global Sales teams to, technical support, site Product Managers ensuring key opportunities are identified, and that Hexcel's offering are appropriately promoted, positioned, technically supported, with LTA approval and other internal approvals gained.* Lead activity in co-ordination with Sales, R&D and Technical Support in the planning, organization and execution of Technology Days/Meetings with Customers to promote technologies and understand Customer/Market requirements to support product line product development strategies and development of pipeline of opportunities* Responsible for Sales activity as required where assigned Product Lines, for Sales competitors, where the business takes the decision to manage competitor accounts outside the Sales team* General: Travel required to support business needs (internal meeting, customer visit, trade shows), Tight control of marketing qualification budget on dedicated product range, working with site Product Managers, to ensure that NPI activity at sites are completed in support of growth opportunities being led, reporting through weekly & monthly reports and active participation in monthly Aerospace Product Management meetings to share expertise and business through all Aerospace European plants.**Qualifications & Experience:*** University degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience with technical and / or sales & marketing background - ideally in composites materials & aerospace market.* Fluent in English and French* Results orientated with strong written and oral communication* Influencer with leadership and dynamism* Self-motivated & self-reliant - work autonomously & with proactivity* Commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to set priorities in a complex matrix organization* Good analytical and synthetics mindset and good organizational and multitasking skills* Team spirit & diplomacy, leadership & management skills with a strategic mindset* Knowledge of aerospace market, composite materials* Good finance knowledge to influence strategic decisionsHexcel, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is a global leader in advanced composite materials technology, a major player in carbon fiber production, and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the aerospace industry.Hexcel is committed to promoting equal opportunity and inclusion.
