Alstom is recruiting a RAMS Engineer for electrification and track subsystems to join its Infrastructure RAMS team located in Paris Saint‑Ouen.

The RAMS team delivers RAMS activities on railway infrastructure projects, tenders, R&D and sustaining activities, engaging with stakeholder teams to resolve RAMS issues and ensure safety compliance across project phases.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• RAM/Safety Management experience in rail, aerospace, or related industries.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short assignments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform RAMS activities complying with commitments in terms of Quality, Costs and Delays.
• Plan and produce RAMS deliverables in a timely manner to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure quality of RAMS deliverables and foster their acceptance by the Customer, Independent parties and Safety Authorities.
• Conince customers and stakeholders of Alstom’s approach and methodology for RAM safety management and demonstration.
• Support internal stakeholders (design, industrial, sourcing, validation etc.) in defining appropriate measures to meet RAMS actions and follow their closure through documented evidence.
• Be the point of contact for RAMS matters on the project, especially with the customer.
• Have a pro‑active approach on design assessment, supporting the definition of suitable technical solutions and controlling railway safety risks.
• Develop a challenging view on overall RAM results to strengthen the relevance of RAM studies and requirements.

Alstom is recruiting a RAMS Engineer for electrification and track subsystems to join its Infrastructure RAMS team located in Paris Saint‑Ouen, Alstom Headquarters.

The Infrastructure RAMS team in Paris delivers RAMS activities on railway infrastructure projects, tenders, R&D and sustaining activities. They have led RAMS activities on projects such as Bordeaux Tramway, Doha Tramway, Dubai Tramway, Nice Tramway, Toulouse Metro, Belgrade Metro, Société du Grand Paris L18, L15 and L17.

Your mission

You will be the point of contact for RAMS topics for the appointed projects or products and engage with stakeholder teams to resolve any RAMS related matter. You will be involved in a variety of technical subjects and be proactive in controlling railway safety risks through all project phases. You perform RAMS analysis according to Railway CENELEC standards and in compliance with contractual requirements and Alstom internal processes.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering or equivalent, solid knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Knowledge and experience in RAM/Safety Management, preferably within the railway industry or Aerospace, Defence, Space, Military, Nuclear, Chemical.
• Experience in Electrical and/or Electro‑mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products.
• Fluent in English and French, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sense of priorities, structured and organized, with hands‑on approach.
• Open to occasional international travel for short-term missions.
