Jobtailor in France is seeking a Railway Dynamics Engineer to update SIMPACK models and run dynamics simulations in line with project standards.

You will perform APTA, Y/Q and MCAT calculations, study wheel-rail behavior, and prepare documentation for project teams and stakeholders.

The position requires an engineering degree, minimal 3 years in similar roles, SIMPACK proficiency, strong analytical and English skills, and is based in Le Creusot.

Qualifications

• Degree from engineering school or equivalent in mechanical engineering with a railway systems focus.
• At least 3 years' experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in SIMPACK or an equivalent MBS software.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor and good interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Update SIMPACK models according to current modeling rules.
• Perform railway dynamics simulations following project standards and methodologies.
• Conduct APTA, Y/Q and MCAT calculations to ensure conformity with project requirements.
• Study the roll behavior of railway vehicles.
• Prepare associated technical documentation and present findings to project teams and stakeholders.
