EnduroSat, a fast-growing space scale-up, seeks a Radiation Engineer to ensure the reliability of Space systems. You will conduct radiation analyses on ongoing satellite projects and plan strategies to enhance radiation resilience as missions grow more complex.

You will work on tests and data, maintain component records, and communicate environmental challenges to customers, contributing to groundbreaking missions advancing space exploration.

Qualifikationen

• Comprehensive understanding of sources and effects of radiation on EEE devices.
• Familiarity with radiation simulation tools (OMERE, SPENVIS, FasTrad, NOVICE).
• Knowledge of electronics systems to prepare and carry out PCBA and EEE components tests.
• Open to knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Understanding the importance of last-mile delivery and project timelines.
• Quick learner, proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for Space.

What is the role?

As a Radiation Engineer at EnduroSat, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and durability of our Space systems. You will work on existing missions by conducting radiation analyses on ongoing projects. Additionally, as our missions become increasingly complex, involving satellite deployments to environments with more challenging radiation conditions, you will proactively plan and implement strategies to enhance radiation resilience. Your expertise will contribute to the success of groundbreaking missions that push the boundaries of Space exploration.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting radiation analyses on new and ongoing satellite projects
• Carrying out simulations, radiation tests research, and customer report presentation
• Preparing and carrying out radiation tests (TID & SEE)
• Maintaining EnduroSat’s list of EEE components up to date with the latest test information
• Communicating with customers on the environmental challenges of their mission
