Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.

We are building a quantum computer based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. Compared to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits can implement quantum error correction autonomously.

About the role

Quantum Research Community Manager. Supports the transition from research to commercial deployment by driving adoption of our hardware, engaging the scientific community, and fostering collaborations.

How Success is Measured

Success is measured by the volume of published research initiatives enabled through our systems.

Responsibilities

• Champion the user journey by tracking satisfaction and continuously elevating the quality of the user experience.
• Track equipment usage, maximize adoption, and support research initiatives and scientific publications.
• Map, understand, and engage quantum research communities.
• Organise trainings, workshops, and educational initiatives in collaboration with internal experts.
• Drive long‑term adoption of Alice & Bob’s hardware by tracking global research trends and aligning technology with future breakthroughs.
• Support active research projects and mobilise subject‑matter experts to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage non‑urgent user inquiries and synthesize feedback into actionable insights for product and sales teams.
• Represent Alice & Bob at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer‑facing environments and educational initiatives.
• MSc or PhD in quantum computing, quantum engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in software development, ideally with Python.
• Willingness and ability to travel across France and Europe.
• Highly adaptive communication style, able to engage scientific, technical, and executive‑level audiences effectively.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Analytical, forward‑thinking mindset with a proven track record of taking initiative and solving complex problems.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of quantum error correction or bosonic qubits.
• First‑hand experience building research collaborations or grant applications.
