Description du poste

Overview

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. The quantum computer we envision is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. Cat qubits can autonomously implement quantum error correction, advancing practical fault-tolerant quantum computing.

We are a diverse team of 250+ from over 35 countries united to revolutionise computing. Join us to tackle unprecedented challenges and shape the future of quantum computing.

About the Role

This role collaborates with the leadership team and serves as the chief architect of quantum education within the company. You will build Alice & Bob\'s Academy from the ground up, creating internal learning programs that bring quantum literacy to every employee, a world-class summer school for doctoral researchers, and the long-term co-creation of a competitive master\'s degree in quantum physics with leading European institutions.

About You

You are a builder who has launched programs, grown communities, and created structure in complex environments — from academia, a research institute, a deep tech company, or an education-focused organization. What matters most is a track record of getting things off the ground, the ability to earn scientists\' trust, and a genuine passion for making frontier science accessible. A non-linear career path is a strength.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead Alice & Bob\'s internal quantum education program
    • Design a tiered quantum physics curriculum covering fundamentals, superconducting qubits, cat qubit architecture, and quantum error correction
    • Develop self-paced modules, live seminars, and hands-on bootcamps for different technical backgrounds
    • Define learning pathways by role (hardware, software, business, operations) in collaboration with team leads
    • Create and maintain an internal knowledge base that evolves with research
    • Build metrics to assess learning outcomes and iterate continuously
  • Design and run Alice & Bob\'s annual Summer School for doctoral researchers
    • Build a network of academic partners to source participants and co-design content
    • Recruit and coordinate a faculty of internal scientists and external experts
    • Manage the program end-to-end: curriculum, logistics, participant selection, and follow-up
    • Leverage the summer school to strengthen Alice & Bob\'s academic brand and build a talent pipeline
  • Own Alice & Bob\'s academic community strategy
    • Position Alice & Bob as a leading place to learn cutting-edge quantum computing globally
    • Build relationships with professors, lab directors, and quantum research institutions worldwide
    • Represent Alice & Bob at academic events and conferences
    • Manage Alice & Bob\'s CIFRE thesis program, including partner identification and candidate coordination
  • Lead the long-term co-creation of a competitive Master\'s degree in quantum physics
    • Identify and negotiate partnerships with leading institutions
    • Design the curriculum in collaboration with Alice & Bob\'s scientific leadership
    • Define the program\'s positioning, admission criteria, and pedagogical approach
    • Navigate the institutional and regulatory landscape for higher education in France and Europe
  • Develop Alice & Bob\'s Academy into an ecosystem platform
    • Lead the creation and execution of quantum hackathons and developer engagement initiatives
    • Design and deliver executive education, technical workshops, and advisory programs
    • Package internal educational content into scalable offerings for customers, partners, and ecosystems
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing programs at the intersection of science, education, or research in academia, industry, or institutional settings globally
  • Master\'s degree or equivalent in physics, engineering, education, or related; PhD appreciated but not required
  • Strong understanding of quantum computing to engage credibly with physicists and translate for others
  • Track record of building structured programs from scratch — curricula, bootcamps, summer schools, or certificate programs
  • Solid academic or research network with familiarity across leading universities and institutions globally
  • Experience managing institutional partnerships across academic, regulatory, or corporate stakeholders
  • Project management skills: multiple programs running simultaneously, on time and on budget
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and design constraints
  • Fluent communication and facilitation in English and French
Recruitment Process
  • Screening call with a Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Hiring Manager interview with Hector
  • Technical interview/presentation
  • Leadership Team interview
  • Fit interview
  • Reference check
