Qualifications

  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative requirements.
  • Experience with HACCP, FSSC 22000 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of English.

Description du poste

We are looking for a Quality, Food Safety & Environment Manager to lead the QFSE (Quality, Training, Safety, Environment) department at our La-Chapelle plant. The role reports to the QFSER Director in Headquarters and will drive the implementation of quality and environmental systems that meet company objectives and legislative requirements.

What you will do
  • Contribute to the development of the factory's vision and strategic plan, leading the quality and environmental teams to maximise their potential and contribution.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and legal regulations governing the environment, quality and food safety.
  • Improve quality performance through improvement initiatives and consistent application of manufacturing and quality procedures.
  • Support operational teams in managing quality, HACCP, and environmental systems to meet company standards and legislative requirements.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement in quality and environmental areas.
  • Maintain and develop management systems and keep accreditation.
  • Establish effective partnerships with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement on-site training for quality and environmental topics, ensuring mandatory training delivery.
  • Plan and control the quality and environmental budget for cost‑effective results and continuous competitive advantage.
  • Steer the site’s waste, water, and emissions management strategy.
  • Promote collaboration among managers and functions to improve performance via internal and external benchmarking.
What we are looking for
  • More than 5–7 years of experience managing a Quality & Environment department, preferably in agri‑food or animal feed.
  • Higher vocational training in food technology, chemistry or related health sciences.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislative requirements.
  • Experience with office software; SAP experience is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000 and ISO 14001 standards.
