Job summary

Mars Wrigley France is seeking a Quality and Food Safety Associate Scientist for the Haguenau Printshop. This fixed-term contract (10 months) requests leadership to ensure products, processes and environments meet Mars Quality standards.

Requirements include bilingual English/French, a BS in a technical field, and 2 years in manufacturing or quality roles. Travel up to 10% and 50% on-site presence apply, with opportunities to drive continuous improvements and training across the site.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French required.
• BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality & food safety roles.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, GMPs, food safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience conducting quality & food safety internal and/or external audits.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Haguenau-based Quality and Food Safety management systems and drive continuous improvements (Quality plans, CAPAs, PRIMPs/non-conformances, training materials).
• Communicate with Operations and support teams on product quality and facility conditions; collaborate to correct issues.
• Champion action plans to address production-related programs to trend, report and address consumer feedback for the Printshop.
• Coordinate maintenance and reporting of non-conforming product and ensure proper disposition and documentation.
• Assist in development and delivery of the Printshop's QFS training program for all associates.
• Conduct supplier packaging and co-packaging audits and report findings in English.
• Develop regional supplier capabilities.
